Chriss說那種從板凳出發跟去年的感覺不太一樣

“It was different. It was just a different feeling for the game,” he said
Friday, after shootaround. “I think it’s going to take some time, but
ultimately, it’s just basketball. Regardless, you’re going to end up
probably getting the same amount of minutes as if you started the game so I
just think, try to contribute as much as you can when you’re in the game is
what I need to do

這是不同的，這是一種對比賽不同的感覺，Chriss在週五的投籃練習後說道

我想我需要一點時間，但最終這仍然只是籃球，而我想不論你從板凳或先發出來你得到的
上場時間都不會相差太多，這樣想有助於我比賽場上知道我該做什

(他有提到Dudley告訴他要保持專注並且找到自己的定位，有老將真好)


Chriss added being physically ready is also important.

“Just trying to get warm, just keeping my body moving, just keeping myself
active because you warm up (pregame) and then you sit down so, I think, just
staying loose is probably the biggest thing,” he said.

Chriss提到隨時準備好也是很重要的一件事

就是嘗試準備熱身，讓身體活動，就是讓我自己準備好因為你在比賽開始前熱身然後你
(比賽後)坐了下來(板凳上)，我認為保持放鬆大概是最不一樣的事情

Last season, Chriss played fewer than 13 minutes only 10 times in 82 games.

“It made sense to me because I didn’t look at where I would fit in in the
game,” he said, referring to his lack of production. “I kind of just got in
and was having the same mindset that I had when I started. You just got to
take a different aspect on the game.”

Chriss上賽季只有13場比賽上場時間少於13分鐘(註:開幕戰12分鐘)

這對我來說很合理因為我還沒有找到如何融入近比賽，我有點像是上了場之後保持像是
打先發時的心態，你必須要用不同的方式面對比賽。

花生談這個調度

“It was honest, it was direct, it was truthful,” head coach Earl Watson
said of his conversation with Chriss. “Quese know he’s a starter in this
league and there’s things we want him to accomplish consistently so he can
have a long, impactful NBA career. We’re protecting him. It’s no punishment
at all. It’s just teaching, and once he gets to that level he knows he’s a
starter.”

這是真誠的，這是直接的，這是發自內心的

Chriss知道他在聯盟是一個先發等級的球員可是我們希望他可以始終如一的完成這樣
他可以有一個漫長的，有影響力的職業生涯(意思類似適應不同工作)，我們是在保護他
，我們不是在懲罰他，我們只是在教育他，而有一天他會到達那個等級並且他知道
自己是個先發球員



賽後訪問

在連續兩場被對放射報後

“If these two programs are the future of the NBA, there’s no defense in the
future,” Suns coach Earl Watson said. “We have to change.”

如果這兩個數據是未來的NBA，那未來就沒有防守，我們需要改變(指對方過高的投籃跟
3分命中率)

“Lonzo hit big shots over Tyson,” Watson said. “Got too complicated. Guys
start to second-guess it instead of staying with it.

“Lonzo’s tricky, like, if you’re over the top, he’s quick enough to make
plays in the paint,” the Suns coach added. “If you go under it, today he
shot well from three. Before coming in tonight he shot 20 percent, 25
percent, maybe even 23 percent from three (off the dribble). He made
three-point shots off the dribble. If he masters that, he’s going to be a
very difficult guard for the future, if not now.”

Lonzo在Tyson面前投進關鍵球，他打球的方式太多變，大家開始對自己的第一個想法
產生懷疑而不適緊盯著他

Lonzo非常的狡猾，如果你對他緊迫盯人他夠快可以在禁區出手(突破)，如果你往後
退一步，今天你可以發現他在3分的投射非常好，在今天上場之前他可能在運球後投
3分只有20，25，可能只有23%的命中率，如果他在這塊練起來，他將會是聯盟未來
非常難以防的球員，如果不是現在

花生說他在告訴Chriss要從板凳出發後有請他吃飯


“‘Quese and I went to dinner yesterday. He spent a lot on my budget, so I
think we’re good. I mean, he’s not supposed to be happy. We don’t want him
to be happy. We want to put ‘Quese in a situation where he’s not forced to
grow but he’s in a situation where he has to grow. We want ‘Quese to be
this amazing guy who can play above the rim, rebound and shoot threes. And we
need to get ‘Quese going and it’s up to me as a coach, myself, to make sure
I always set Quese up for life and basketball, you know, as far as being a
player he’s supposed to be a also the person he’s supposed to be. Sometimes
you got to pull back a little bit to get more. When you pull back you have to
tell them why. You teach them how to overcome back and then you give them
more. He understands that. We went to dinner, told him I love him, so we’re
good.

Chriss跟我昨天去吃了晚餐，他花了我不少的預算，所以我認為我們很好，我的意思是
，他不應該感到開心，我們也不希望他感到開心，我們希望把他在一個"他不是被迫成長
而是在一個他應該要成長"的狀況下

他上場決定在我，我認為，確定我在他的人生跟籃球都有所幫助，你知道的，讓他做為一
個球員同時也是一個人他該做的，有的時候你需要後退來得到更多，而當你讓他們後退
你要跟他解釋原因，你教導他們如何克服並且給他們更多，他了解這件事情，我們去吃了
晚餐，告訴他我愛他，所以我們很好

“This is funny. So we get to dinner and I go, ‘You hated me yesterday.’ He
said, ‘kind of.’ We have that situation once a season, it just happened
earlier (this season). I was like, ‘That’s cool, you’re supposed to hate
me, but you know I still love you.’ He said, ‘Yeah, I love you too.” I said
, ‘let’s have dinner. Let’s talk about this.’

“I believe in him so much, and it’s not like a punishment, it’s that I
need to get his attention and I need to walk him through on how to get him
back to where he needs to be and even better.”

這很有趣，我們去吃飯然後我說"你昨天應該很討厭我"他說"恩有點"，我們曾經有過這個
共識，這在這個賽季比較早發生，而我的反應就像是"這很酷，你當然該討厭我，但你知
道我仍然愛你" 他說"對拉我也愛你"，然後我說我們來吃晚餐吧，等等再來談這個

我真的非常相信他，這不是像一種懲罰，而是向我需要引起他的注意而且我需要走在他的
旁邊這樣我才知道怎麼帶他回來到他應該變得更好的地方



看起來教練是為了保護他(?)才做這個決定的，也希望Chriss可以更快融入了
