撰寫專利說明書時，元件的用語、上下位用語的選擇等，可以參考「自然語言中的WordNet資料庫」。

沒有安裝python及NLTK，可以使用WordNet的網路資料庫

舉例而言，如上述連結。

hypernym，可以查「上位詞」
hyponym，可以查「下位詞 」
sister term，應該是同輩詞。

一樣以上述連結為例。

S: (n) shaft (a long rod or pole (especially the handle of
        an implement or the body of a weapon like a spear or arrow))

點選「direct hyponym 」後會出現的下位詞有兩個「axle」及「thill」。
direct hyponym / full hyponym
    S: (n) axle (a shaft on which a wheel rotates)
    S: (n) thill (one of two shafts extending from
                  the body of a cart or carriage on
                  either side of the animal that pulls it)

點選「direct hypernym」後，會出形的上位詞有1個「rod」。
direct hypernym / inherited hypernym / sister term
    S: (n) rod (a long thin implement made of metal or wood)
