[問題] TOC是什麼??

各位版友大家好

請問 TOC 是什麼呢？
我的指導教授要我論文初稿完成時要使用TOC。她說

send me the full draft as one single Word document with a hotlinked
table of contents that enables the reader to jump from TOC to specific
sections (this is a TOC-generation function in Word that is easy to use).

她現在在旅行，沒辦法問她
所以有沒有人可以告訴我中文名稱是什麼呢？或是要如何使用這個東西呢？
(雖然她說很簡單，可是我還是不知道TOC是什麼…>"<)
