[閒聊] 關於heat kernel

小弟我最近學偏微分方程有學到熱學裡的Cauchy Problem

最後解出來會得到有一個函數叫做heat kernel or fundamental solution

圖中Ｇ這個函數長得就是常態分配

想問一下常態分配在這個地方有代表什麼意義嗎

還是只是剛好解出來長得跟常態分配一樣而已

推 rex0707: fundamental solution在簡單的問題可以推出exact sol.
→ rex0707: 數值方法也會用到 method of fundamental solution
→ recorriendo: fund. sol.是init. cond.為delta function時的解
→ recorriendo: 可以想成:delta function經過熱傳導後即成常態分布
