Weird spring training injury monster claims Corey Hart

After fracturing his shoulder getting out of a swimming pool, Ronald
Belisario was the leader in the clubhouse for the weirdest offseason/spring
injury in Major League Baseball in 2015. He could still be the leader, but he
at least has competition from Pirates first baseman Corey Hart now.
It's a seemingly annual tradition that once spring training starts, we start
to see some incredibly odd injuries. I know off the top of my head that Kerry
Wood once had a hot tub issue as well. Two years ago, there was Joel Peralta
hurting his neck while on a sandwich run and Francisco Liriano breaking his
arm while slamming into a door in order to scare his kids.
And who could forget Jeremy Affeldt slicing open his hand with a very sharp
knife while attempting to separate frozen hamburger patties at a cookout?
It's March and baseball players are working out. Put everyone in bubble wrap.
