比較算是理由的一段：
Cards are supposed to be marked symmetrically, but a possible
manufacturing defect may have left the cards asymmetrical and, thus,
identifiable from the back. In addition, the cards should be disposed
of after each day's play, but Ivey apparently managed to convince the
casino to keep the cards in play.
牌背花紋應該要是對稱的，但製造過程的瑕玭可能會造成不對稱，可以從牌背看
出來。還有，本來應該每天換一次牌，但 Ivey 成功盧到叫賭場不要換牌。
附帶一提，Las Vegas 有些賭場改了 shoe，有些自動洗牌機加進把牌隨機轉
180 度的功能，所以 Phil Ivey 這個「手法」可能已經不能成功了。
