Dice-K's first rehab start set for Monday

BOSTON -- Daisuke Matsuzaka is ready to shift from the rehab phase of his
comeback to the pitching portion.

松坂即將結束漫長的復健，準備開始投復健賽。

The right-hander will pitch for Class A Advanced Salem on Monday, starting
the clock on a 30-day rehab assignment, which means he could be activated by
the Red Sox by May 23, slightly ahead of his original schedule.

這位右投手將於美國時間週一於高階1A出賽，展開為期30天的復健賽程。這意味著他可能
在5月23日，也就是比先前預估的時間更早回到紅襪的陣容。

Matsuzaka underwent Tommy John surgery on his right elbow last June, and he
has seemingly been ahead of schedule throughout his comeback.

松坂於去年6月接受右手肘的Tommy John手術，但看起來他似乎要提早復出了。

The plan is for Matsuzaka to make five starts in the Minor Leagues before
joining Boston's starting rotation.

目前計畫是在松坂回到紅襪隊先發輪值前，讓他投5場復健賽。

"Dice-K feels really good," said Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine. "The
conversation with him is that he's ready to start dealing with competition
rather than rehabilitation. We will still monitor his pitches. He won't have
a 30-pitch inning. He says he feels good."

「松坂表示他狀況不錯」紅襪總教練Bobby Valentine表示，「我跟他談過了，他看起來
已經準備好要回到大聯盟，而不僅僅是投投復健賽而已。我們會持續關注他的狀態，我們
不會讓一局投超過30球的情況發生在他身上。他說他感覺很好。」

Meanwhile, left fielder Carl Crawford remains at extended spring camp, where
he will make another start on Friday. Crawford is still serving as the
designated hitter.

同時，紅襪隊左外野手Carl Crawford在延長春訓基地也繼續著他的復健菜單，並將在週五
擔任指定打擊。

Shortly after he gains clearance to play the outfield, Crawford will probably
be sent up to a Minor League affiliate.

經過上場守備的測試後，Crawford將在小聯盟展開他回歸大聯盟的復健賽。
