火箭以3年10M簽下KJ McDaniels。
第一則推特註明第三年為球員選項。

但根據Mark Berman的最新消息，
KJ經紀人 Jason Martin 證實已與火箭達成3年10M，
但第三年無球員選項。

2. Bill Simmons 與莫雷關於 Harrell的交鋒

Bill Simmons的兩則推特：

賽爾提克在第一輪28順位沒選 Harrell 讓我很氣。

3. KJ McDaniels 動向+薪資預估

其實是幾天前的消息了，不過很少人提，就順便po一下。

薪資專家 David Weiner(BimaThug) 預估
火箭可能開給 KJ 的薪資是部分中產，金額不超過 $3.376M。

If they go over the Taxpayer MLE ($3.376M), the hard cap is imposed. 
It's why I think they're offering KJ no more than that.

他認為中產的理想分配方式為：
(1) 簽下KJ
(2) 撥一部分用來簽 Harrell (金額介於$650-800k之間)，
(3)剩下的可能留到季中用來撿漏。

(雖然只是預估，但 Weiner 的預測向來很準確。)

I think ideal use of MLE is (1) McDaniels, (2) Harrell &
(3) maybe hold onto rest for midseason pickup.

另外根據Calvin Watkins的推特，火箭正和 KJ 方面協商薪資，
他有收到一份豐厚的合約報價，但尚未簽下offer sheet。

Rockets want to use $5.4 mil MLE on KJ McDaniels are in talks with him. 
McDaniels has a strong offer from 1 other team. No offer sheet yet.

KJ本人目前回到母校 Clemson 大學繼續學業，目標是取得學位。

Harrell的情況比較棘手
火箭目前在不觸發薪資硬帽的情況下
能開給他的金額最多只有$665K (二輪菜鳥底薪為$525K)
但賽爾提克剛開給他們今年的33號新秀5M/4Y的合約...

如果要開給Harrell更高的薪水 就必須動用其餘的中產
這會觸發薪資硬帽 同時也會喪失交易補強的彈性
（一旦hard-capped 就不能像泰勞交易那樣 出8M薪資 就能拿回12M薪資）
我的理解是這樣，不確定是否有誤

所以和Harrell的經紀人還有得協商
若對方覺得金額太低 也可能選擇像KJ一樣簽一年底薪
明年再爭取大合約 但這就表示火箭明年又會再一次面臨KJ這種RFA的狀況
