這題的關鍵在於第一句的分詞構句，
觀察發現它省略了主詞S1，代表 S1=S2 才能這樣分詞構句，
又由前後文意可判斷出，兩句的主詞皆應為 I
所以本句未分詞構句前為以下這兩句
I walked by the corner the other day.
I noticed a child watching for the light to change.
分詞構句合併就是答案=>
Walking by the corner the other day,I noticed a child watching for the light
to change.
