燈燈燈~~第二回的猜題來了:


近期有出幾回猜題模考給我自己學生寫，

特別挑出 翻譯and 作文部分，給同學參考與練習一下。

  但因為這兩天還在跟自己很多班的高三學生  一對一討論

  後續英文作文問題，所以比較沒時間回答對於翻譯的提問，

  在此先告知，請見諒

   Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short
distances (using short-wavelength UHF radio waves in the ISM band from 2.4 to
2.485 GHz) from fixed and mobile devices, and building personal area networks
(PANs). Invented by telecom vendor Ericsson in 1994, it was originally
conceived as a wireless alternative to RS-232 data cables.
Bluetooth is managed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which has
more than 30,000 member companies in the areas of telecommunication,
computing, networking, and consumer electronics. The IEEE standardized
Bluetooth as IEEE 802.15.1, but no longer maintains the standard. The
Bluetooth SIG oversees development of the specification, manages the
qualification program, and protects the trademarks. A manufacturer must meet
Bluetooth SIG standards to market it as a Bluetooth device. A network of
patents apply to the technology, which are licensed to individual qualifying
devices.

  The name "Bluetooth" is an Anglicised version of the Scandinavian
  Blåtand, the epithet of the tenth-century king Harald Bluetooth
who united dissonant Danish tribes into a single kingdom and, according
to legend, also introduced Christianity. The idea of this name was proposed in 1997 by Jim Kardach of
Intel who developed a system that would allow mobile phones to communicate
with computers. At the time of this proposal he was reading Frans G.
Bengtsson's historical novel The Long Ships about Vikings and King Harald
Bluetooth. The implication is that Bluetooth does the same with
communications protocols, uniting them into one universal standard.

1998年時藍牙推出0.7規格，支援Baseband與LMP（Link Manager Protocol）通訊協定兩
部份。1999年推出先後0.8版，0.9版、1.0 Draft版，1.0a版、1.0B版。1.0 Draft版，完
成SDP（Service Discovery Protocol）協定、TCS（Telephony Control Specification
）協定。1999年7月26日正式公布1.0版，確定使用2.4GHz頻譜，最高資料傳輸速度1Mbps
，同時開始了大規模宣傳。和當時流行的紅外線技術相比，藍牙有著更高的傳輸速度，而
且不需要像紅外線那樣進行介面對介面的連線，所有藍牙裝置基本上只要在有效通訊範圍
內使用，就可以進行隨時連線。
當1.0規格推出以後，藍牙並未立即受到廣泛的應用，除了當時對應藍牙功能的電子裝置
種類少，藍牙裝置也十分昂貴。2001年的1.1版正式列入IEEE標準，Bluetooth 1.1即為
IEEE 802.15.1。同年，SIG成員公司超過2000家。過了幾年之後，採用藍牙技術的電子裝
置如雨後春筍般增加，售價也大幅下降。為了擴寬藍牙的應用層面和傳輸速度，SIG先後
推出了1.2、2.0版，以及其他附加新功能，例如EDR（Enhanced Data Rate，配合2.0的技
術標準，將最大傳輸速度提高到3Mbps）、A2DP（Advanced Audio Distribution Profile
，一個控音軌分配技術，主要應用於立體聲耳機）、AVRCP（A/V Remote Control
Profile）等。Bluetooth 2.0將傳輸率提升至2Mbps、3Mbps，遠大於1.x版的1Mbps（實際
約723.2kbps）。
藍牙用於在不同的裝置之間進行無線連線，例如連線電腦和外圍裝置，如：印表機、鍵盤
等，又或讓個人數位助理（PDA）與其它附近的PDA或電腦進行通訊。具備藍牙技術的手機
可以連線到電腦、PDA甚至連線到免持聽筒。
事實上，根據已訂立的標準，藍牙可以支援功能更強的長距離通訊，用以構成無線區域網
路。每個Bluetooth裝置可同時維護8個連線。可以將每個裝置配置為不斷向附近的裝置聲
明其存在以便建立連線。另外也可以對二個裝置之間的連線進行密碼保護，以防止被其他
裝置接收。

藍牙的標準是IEEE 802.15.1，藍牙協定工作在無需許可的ISM（Industrial Scientific
Medical）頻段的2.45GHz。最高速度可達723.1kb/s。為了避免干擾可能使用2.45GHz的其
它協定，藍牙協定將該頻段劃分成79個頻道，（頻寬為1MHz）每秒的頻道轉換可達1600次
。
藍牙技術最初由愛利信創製。技術始於愛利信公司的1994方案，它是研究在行動電話和其
他配件間進行低功耗、低成本無線通訊連線的方法。發明者希望為裝置間的通訊創造一組
統一規則（標準化協定），以解決用戶間互不相容的移動電子裝置。1997年前愛利信公司
以此概念接觸了行動裝置製造商，討論其專案合作發展，結果獲得支援。
1998年5月20日，索尼易立信，即藍牙技術聯盟的前身，目標是開發一個成本低、效益高
、可以在短距離範圍內隨意無線連線的藍牙技術標準。
這項無線技術的名稱取自古代丹麥維京國王Harald Blåtand的名字，他以統一了因宗教
戰爭和領土爭議而分裂的挪威與丹麥而聞名於世，而這個名字的英文便是Harald
Bluetooth。
