看完會對於小綠留在馬刺隊多了些希望。


Spurs' Danny Green: 'Things may be changing and not be the same again'

San Antonio Spurs swingman Danny Green will be a free agent in the summer, and
he wants to remain where he is. He knows, however, that there's no guarantee
the Spurs will look the same next season, via the San Antonio Express-News'

“It hasn't sunk in yet, but this is a special group,” he said. “That's why
it sucks so bad, especially for Timmy (Duncan) and Manu (Ginobili). We had an
opportunity to do something special for them. All I can do is hope and pray for
another group like that in the future, but I have a feeling some of those guys
will be back. R.C. and Pop do a great job of bringing in new guys.”

“Hopefully, I'll be back,” he said. “I love San Antonio. The fans have
always supported us, from day one. It sucks that we had such a special group,
and things may be changing and not be the same again.”

Green, who turns 28 in June, is in line for a big payday. He's one of the best
perimeter defenders and 3-point shooters in the NBA, which is a hard
combination to find. He was inconsistent throughout San Antonio's first-round
series against the Los Angeles Clippers, but came through with a huge Game 7
performance.

即將在六月(生日是6/22)滿28歲的 Green 正在尋求一份新的合約。他是目前NBA最棒的
外圍防守者及三分射手之一，同時擁有兩者能力的球員並不多。雖然他在本次季後賽對戰

The Spurs only have five players under contract for next season: Tony Parker,
Tiago Splitter, Boris Diaw, Patty Mills and Kyle Anderson. They're expected to
re-sign Kawhi Leonard, their new franchise player, and perhaps go after
Portland Trail Blazers star LaMarcus Aldridge. There is uncertainty about
whether or not Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili will play another year, though, so
it's hard to project how all of this will play out.

目前，馬刺隊在下季仍有合約在身的球員只有五名：Tony Parker、Tiago Splitter、
Boris Diaw、Patty Mills 及 Kyle Anderson。馬刺隊會希望再簽下他們新的特權球員
Kawhi Leonard，並或許會追求波特蘭拓荒者隊的球星 LaMarcus Aldridge。然而，目前仍
不確定 Tim Duncan 及 Manu Ginobili 會否續戰下個球季，所以對於未來會如何執行還
很難預測。


San Antonio's season ended extremely early, given how great this group is.
There's no telling how similar next year's team will be, but Green definitely
isn't the only one hoping that most of the Spurs stick together.

一想到這個球隊是多麼棒，馬刺隊本賽季的球季卻如此地早早結束，令人愕然。
在此不可能去猜想，在下一季這個球隊會變得怎麼樣，但 Green 絕對不會是唯一一個希望
和馬刺隊繼續在一起的球員。

真的很希望他能繼續待在馬刺隊。
雖然他本來能力就不錯，但馬刺也算是提攜他的人呀T__T
我也認為他值得更高的薪水 (如果季後賽的表現可以再更穩一點就好了...)


雖然好像不是一篇太有用的外電，還是請多多指教。
