[情報] Pau Gasol說馬刺是個有興趣的選項

        imagine for a second Pau Gasol operating in the San Antonio Spurs'
beautiful offense, throwing over-the-shoulder passes to cutters and daring
teams to double-team him in the post. It almost happened a couple of years
ago.but Gasol chose to join the Chicago Bulls. In retrospect that seems like
a mistake, but he can rectify it in July as a free agent.

        想像一下Pau Gasol在馬刺操作著完美的進攻，單手肩上投籃，傳球給接入者使人

        Gasol's borther, Marc, has already suggested the Spurs as an ideal
landing  spot. It's unusual for an NBA palyer to publicly suggest someome
signing with another team, but no one could argue with him. In an interview
 with Spanish newpaper Marca, Pau said himself that San Antonio would be "an
 intersting option for me."

        Gasol的弟弟 Marc 建議他馬刺是個理想的落腳處，一個NBA球員在公開場合建議
他人和非自己球隊簽約，這不尋常。然而並沒有任何人對此提出爭論。在一次西班牙新聞
報的訪談中，Gasol自己就說了馬刺是一個有興趣的選擇~

        In July, Gasol will turn 36 years old. He's going to chase a champship
 somewhere, and aside from the Golden State Warriors, no team offers a better
 chance to do that than the Spurs. He also just fits their culture, and not
just because they have a bunch of international players. San Antonio is a
 veteran team that values selflessness on and off the court, the locker-room
 drama that plagued the Bulls basically doesn't exist there. Gasol might not
 make the same money he would elsewhere, but the Spurs' roster is full of
 palyers who sacrified salary in order to be there.

        在七月Gasol就要36歲了。為了追逐總冠軍，他必然要去某處，除了勇士，沒有
其他球隊能提供如馬刺一般相當好的條件，他相當的適合馬刺的球隊文化，不只是那裏有
一堆的國際球員，馬刺是個經驗豐富的團隊，無私的團隊表現正是其價值所在，不管是球
場上或球場下。更衣室的戲碼困擾著公牛，但基本上，這在馬刺並不存在。Gasol可能不會在
其他球隊拿到一樣的薪水，但為了成功到馬刺，那裏有一堆自願減薪的球員。

        It's unclear how many minutes San Antonio could offer Gasol, and the
big unknown here is whether or not Tim Duncan is going to come back next
season. The future Hall of Famer just turned 40. but nothing about his play
indicates that he has to walk away. if Duncan does retire, though, then
suddenly there will be a nature role for Gasol to fill. Knowing how Duncan and
 the Spurs operate, his plans will remain a secret until the end of the season
.

        馬刺能提供Gasol多少時間上場目前並不明瞭。還有最大的不確定因素是石佛老
大是否將要繼續打下一季。這位準名人堂的球員剛剛滿40歲，但沒有任何跡象顯示他該退
役了。如果石佛真的退休了，那麼那裡將會有一個自然的空缺給Gasol去補上，並體會馬
刺和石佛的各種運作。Gasol的計畫將持續是個祕密直到整個賽季結束......
