想請教一題機率問題 老師有提供解答
但我不太理解箇中原因 還請各位高手不吝指點

Genotypes AA, Aa, and aa occur with prob (pi_1, pi_2, pi_3).
For n=3 independent observations, the observed frequencies are
(n1, n2, n3).
Explain how you can determine n3 from knowing n1 and n2.
Thus, the multinomial distribution of (n1,n2,n3) is actually two-dimentional.
答案是 the sample size is fixed: n=n1+n2+n3
但題目不是說 n=3 independent observations?
坦白說不是很能理解其中的frequency 和observation 的意思
有上網查了一下genotypes 似乎是一個類似2x2矩陣的結構
不知道有沒有大大願意給小的一點指導？
