Based on the outcome of some discussions with 2K, we're announcing today that
we won't be working on updating for Long War 2 for the War of the Chosen
expansion. While we're disappointed for our fans that we won't be able to
continue work on the mod, this does free our team to focus its full efforts
on our original title, Terra Invicta, which is now in production.

We'd like to thank Firaxis and 2K for all their support and encouragement as
we have gone from hobbyists to pros. We hope everyone will follow our
development of Terra Invicta and give the game a look when it is available. I
intend to be more active discussing plans for the game on our forums as we
progress.

簡單的說，在跟2K談過之後Pavonis會專注於在製作他們的遊戲上

未來將不會有適合WotC版本的LongWar2 Mod釋出

不過johnnylump也有說不反對其他製作者使用他們的素材去做出WotC版本的LongWar2
