Apple reportedly boosts iPhone 12 chip orders amid coronavirus chaos
在武漢肺炎混沌不明的情況下蘋果據傳大幅增加iphone 12晶片訂單
The ongoing coronavirus outbreak will have no impact on Apple’s plans for
its next-generation 5-nanometer chip rollout, one reliable analyst reported
today.
目前武漢肺炎的爆發沒有影響到蘋果5nm晶片的發佈
Apple is believed to have aggressively increased its orders for the new
processors, which will power this year’s iPhone and iPad Pro — as well as
Apple’s first Arm-powered Mac that is said to be scheduled for early 2021.
“The 5nm process will be the core technology for Apple’s new products in 12
–18 months,” reads the latest report from reliable TF International
Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, seen by Cult of Mac.

“Therefore, the COVID-19 has no impact on Apple’s investments for 5nm, and
Apple has increased shipment forecasts and pulled in for 5nm-related
equipment after the epidemic outbreak.”
蘋果甚至上修了5nm產品的出貨量
Kuo added that these 5nm products are “critical” to Apple’s product
strategy for the coming years. Its increased orders of 30-40% will occupy
more manufacturing resources, hindering development for its competitors.

蘋果大概是5nm晶片測試了一下，發覺效果驚為天人，決定全面使用吧
iphone 12會有A14、Wifi 800.12 ay (60GHz 5G wifi)、UWB
iphone 11會改版，裡面放A14，降價$100。這個CP值大概會爆表
明年的Arm Mac 也會用5nm的CPU
春季的iphone、iPad Air則是全面過渡到7nm的A13
故意把高階產能都佔滿
看來是要用晶片戰把對手給打爆
