WASHINGTON, June 5 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Fri
day that his team is looking into the idea of AI companies giving the American p
ublic a  stake in their firms, adding that he planned to host a  meeting with
AI executives as soon as next week.

路透社華盛頓 6 月 5 日電 — 美國總統川普週五向媒體透露，他的團隊正在評估一項新
構想：讓 AI 公司向「美國人民」提供公司的股份。川普同時補充，他計劃最快於下週邀集
各大 AI 企業高層召開會議。

"There's something very interesting about it, where it almost becomes a partner
ship with the American public," he told reporters aboard Air Force One. "We'll
 look into that."

「這件事情有個非常有趣的地方，它幾乎讓公司與美國人民變成了一種合夥關係，」川普
在空軍一號總統專機上對記者表示：「我們會對此進行深入評估。」

Digital news outlet NOTUS reported on Thursday that senior U.S. officials  hel
d preliminary discussions with AI companies about the potential for the  govern
ment to buy some shares in their firms.

數位新聞媒體《NOTUS》週四也報導指出，美國高層官員已與各大 AI 企業展開初步討論
，研議政府注資購買這些公司部分股權的可能性。

The White House did not immediately  respond to a request for comment on detai
ls of the planned meeting, or whether topics  would include the possibility of
the U.S. government taking stakes in the firms.

對於上述計劃中的會議細節，以及會議主題是否會包含「美國政府入股 AI 企業」等議題
，白宮目前並未立即回應置評請求。

AI giants Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Facebook and SpaceX did not immediately re
spond to requests for comment.

包含 Anthropic、OpenAI、Google、Facebook 還有 SpaceX 在內的幾家 AI 巨頭，目前
也都未立即對此做出回應。

The Trump administration has been  struggling to decide how tightly to regulat
e AI.

事實上，川普政府此前一直卡在「到底該對 AI 實施多嚴格的監管」這道難題上。

The White House abruptly cancelled a signing ceremony for an  AI executive ord
er that had been slated for May 21. Other media outlets reported the cancellatio
n came  after the  tech industry pushed back against elements of the directive.

白宮先前曾無預警取消了原定於 5 月 21 日舉行的「AI 行政命令」簽署儀式。據其他
媒體報導，取消主因是科技產業強烈反對該指令中的部分條款。

At the time, Trump said he did not like certain aspects of the executive order
 and did not want to take any steps that might undermine the U.S. in its AI comp
etition with China.

川普當時表示，他不喜歡該行政命令中的某些內容，且不希望採取任何可能削弱美國與
中國進行 AI 競爭優勢的舉措。

But earlier this  week, Trump signed a revamped  version of the  order that
 asked leading AI developers to voluntarily submit their most capable models for
 government cybersecurity tests before releasing them to  the public.

不過就在本週早些時候，川普簽署了一項「改良版」的行政命令。該命令要求各大頂尖 A
