1.自介：
Taipei Interactive Engish Club為非營利的英文讀書會及英文會話社團，於每週六下午
聚會提供會話及演講的全英文環境，成員大多以上班族及研究生為主。

插播：我們這次很榮幸的邀請到 Kylie Wang (王晴蒂)來跟我們分享當英語及時口譯的
酸甜苦辣。他是加州大學柏克萊分校畢業，加州蒙特利國際研究學院會議口譯碩士
，專長是中英雙語主持、中英口譯、及文字翻譯。
Kylie曾經主持或參與過的大型活動甚多，包含「商周Ｘ柏南奇全球經濟大未來論壇暨晚
宴雙語主持」、「柏克萊領袖論壇蔡英文訪談引言人 」(雙語主持)、「歐洲商會歐洲日
晚宴英語主持」等等。
除了語言專業外，Kylie非常熱情活潑，也關心社會脈動，她也是Facebook著名粉絲頁「
國際狗語日報」的發起人之一，也是「無料福利社」網路直播節目主持人 。
Kylie將會和大家介紹專業口筆譯的工作內容和技巧，工作上的酸甜苦辣，Soho族客戶開
發的經驗，還有英語學習的建議。對口筆譯的工作好奇或嚮往的朋友，這是難得和頂尖高
手面對面的學習機會，不要錯過囉! (本演講當然是純英文進行！)

Speech Session: One of our members will share with us something he wishes
everyone to know!
This Saturday (7-9) will be an iEnglish Distinguished Speaker Series session
featuring Kylie Wang in “Life as an Freelance Interpreter - Not Free at All”
. In it, she will share with us what it is like to be a Small Office / Home
Office (SOHO) simultaneous interpreter as well as sharing some of her wisdom
on how to become better at English and working in a SOHO environment. If you
are interested in knowing or even living the life of a freelance translator
or interpreter, then you should come this Saturday! Tell us you are coming by

5.原因：
建立一個練習英文聊天的輕鬆環境。用任何外語聊天是一個困難的技巧，也必須要有一個
比較不一樣的環境。所以我們在這裡要建立讓大家用英文做最平凡但最有樂趣的事情，那
就是聊天！在這裡，輕鬆就是王道！

7.參加方式:會員輪流擔任Host/Speaker
