Every of us enjoyed and learned a lot from Naomi’s introduction. In the afternoon, Ellen brought us to discuss the following 6 questions together, the refreshing feedback and insights of which from the participants would certainly leave strong impacts and useful tips for our next exhibition tour!!! 1.Please observe artist from “Romanticism and Classicism” , “Academism and Realism” and “Impressionism and Naturalism” how they express “Light” on their art work and what’s the difference of the way they expressed and what your feelings are toward those differences ? 2.Please observe the 2 art pieces from Breton (Calling in the Gleaners) and Jean-François Millet (the Gleaners), though the theme they chose were very similar; however, can you observe from the composition of painting, light expression, the way they portray the gleaners …etc. Do you have any different feelings toward these 2 paintings? 3.Please observe the changes of brushstroke from those 5 areas of exhibition. How many different brushstrokes you’ve found and what inspired or touched you most? You may also notice there’s different ways that artiest finishing their stroke, which way of finishing express the inner feeling of the artist most, and why? 4.There’re quite a few nude female paintings in this exhibition, please share with us why the western artist specially love to paint the nude women? Also, would you pick 2 of the nude female painting from this exhibition that bring you the most contrast feelings? Try to find these 2 from the expression of the nude women, composition, gesture, light, and brushstroke and so on…and share with us your viewpoint and findings. 5.Do you think the landscape painting may express the feelings or emotions of the artiest when they paint? If yes, which one in the exhibition makes you feel that? And how you feel that? Share with us!! 6.Why you feel interested of this exhibition? What are your expectation and any surprise you found after visiting this exhibition? Share with us!! Reflections: We could not thank more for the efforts Ellen and Naomi and the contribution of the participants. The resourceful museum tour in the morning and the tree-shady brainstorming discussion and rotating outputs in the afternoon made it a remarkable day for everyone. We also witnessed how well Bliss can pass the torch of tradition soon when we observed Steven’s organized sharing and小光’s hospitability in the meeting!!! -- Bliss English Club since 1997 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bliss.taipei?fref=ts Website: http://blisstaipei520.pixnet.net/blog Picasa: https://plus.google.com/101726755048448689917/photos Bliss 2017 Calendar: 2:30~5:30 pm every Saturday No meeting date: 5/27,6/3,8/5,9/30,10/7,12/16,12/23,12/30 Outing: 6/24 (Q2), 9/23 (Q3) Year-End-Party (YEP): 12/9 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 1.164.137.127 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/StudyGroup/M.1495547528.A.DC7.html
