大家好，我是Jacob （常春藤盟校賓州大學英語教學碩士），SK2TOEFL團隊實力養成班顧
問，也專精在TOEFL機經(JJ)彙總整理，所以也可以叫我J2.
chatgpt這幾個月來很火紅，相信有不少同學開始在嘗試到底有什麼能耐？可能是幫助在
自己課業或工作上，例如excel表格裡的公式，或是有朋友利用它記帳。
那chatgpt可以怎麼幫助學英文呢？目前有幾個初步的想法分享給同學：
1. 寫作:
這應該是目前感覺到幫助會最大並且最快的了，可以直接把獨立寫作題目丟給AI (獨立寫
作機經題目可以到J2TOEFL社團免費下載：https://pse.is/PTTibt ), 直接請它寫一篇文
章，還可以指定字數喔例如400字，不用一分鐘就寫好了。但記得，重點千萬不是把他寫
好的文章一字不漏的背起來，而是去參考它提出的論點、舉的例子、還有更重要的：用字
遣詞。
甚至你自己寫的文章，也可以直接叫他 review your writing and provide
suggestions for improvement.
我隨便丟一篇文章請他改，他給的feedback如下：
Overall, your essay is well-structured and provides clear examples to support
your argument. Here are some suggestions for improving it further:
Use transitions: While you have used some transitions in your essay, there
are places where the lack of transitions makes the writing feel choppy. For
example, in the second paragraph, it would be helpful to add a transition
after the first sentence to connect it with the second sentence.
Additionally, you could use transitions to show the relationship between
ideas in the third paragraph.
Vary your sentence length: While most of your sentences are well-written,
they tend to be of a similar length. Consider varying your sentence length to
create a more engaging and dynamic writing style.
當然，AI還是無法取代真人，不過可以當做參考。可以的話，記得還是把你的文章給你信
任的人幫你看，或是給我們顧問幫你看過。
2.閱讀:
第一個是任何問題，用英文問chatgpt，這樣你就會很習慣看英文了。
第二，請AI推薦你感興趣的書，讀完一個章節，可以請AI summarize, 可以對照一下。
第三，可以請AI critique 任何你看過的一本書，像我試過請他critique “Pride and
Prejudice,” 用了好多層面像societal norms and expectations placed on women,
love and marriage, class and society, 光是看他評論這本書，這樣又可以練習閱讀了
，讚！
