今天要再來分享一段聽力，其中一題帶同學練習的時候，同學們普遍覺得困難，甚至覺得
「咦？有講到嗎？」
該段聽力是TPO 54 set 2

困難的地方大概在1:05這裡開始大概30秒鐘的部分。
逐字稿如下：
For over a century now, researchers have been trying to solve a mystery about
zooplankton.You see, some species of zooplankton migrate, er, not the way
birds do when the seasons change, but daily, in a phenomenon we call diel
vertical migration, or DVM.
In their diel vertical migration, zooplankton swim up near the surface of the
water during the night and swim down to deeper water during the day.
Depending on the species and region, this can be a round trip of between one
hundred and four hundred meters. For a tiny microscopic organism, that’s a
huge distance! Remember now, zooplankton can’t swim very well, and DVM
requires a lot of energy, so there must be an important benefit to this daily
up and down commuting.

第二題題目問到
Why does the professor conclude that zooplankton must derive an important
benefit from diel vertical migration?
就是這題很困難，因為原文有提到這個概念的，就一句話：Remember now, zooplankton
can’t swim very well, and DVM requires a lot of energy, so there must be an
important benefit to this daily up and down commuting.
沒聽到就沒了，因為後面就開始講別的事情，沒有再針對這個概念有任何補充。

這樣的題目，之後同學練習要怎樣能做對呢？可注意以下幾點：
常跟同學提到，只要是音檔的內容，都是出題範圍，任何地方都有可能出考題，當然大部
分題目都考在「大方向」沒錯，但是沒有說較細的地方就不能出考題。只要有講到，就有
機會出題。這種題型，考驗的是同學對於細節掌握度，能不能27+ 差別就在這了。想要讓
聽力分數更高，在抓到重點大綱之餘，較細的東西也要能想辦法掌握住。大方向、扯開話
題稍微聊到的，或是像這樣一句話帶過的，都能聽到當然代表聽力實力越強。
要能抓到較細的東西，前提應該是原本的大方向「能輕鬆聽懂」，如果大方向聽的就很吃
力，當然細的東西更難抓到。所以如果覺得自己程度還沒那麼好的同學，還是建議先抓大
方向，第二次聽的時候再抓較細的東西。目標是漸漸地能第一次就兩個方向都抓到。
可在第二或第三次的練習中，刻意練習只抓較細的，或是扯開話題稍微聊到的部分，培養
敏感度。
