建議您建立「後位修飾語」的概念
此類文法非常常見，有了此概念必能迎刃而解
當形容詞放在名詞之後修飾該名詞時稱為後位修飾
此類的形容詞多為複雜型
有「現在分詞引導的片語」：people living in poverty
有「過去分詞引導的片語」：deaths caused by drunk driving
有「介詞片語」：people from Japan
有「關係代名詞引導的子句」：people who live in the big city

其實這四類修飾語可以互相轉換
當主格關係代名詞接動作類的動詞時可以化簡
所以：people who live in the big city
= people living in the big city
因此反推：people living in poverty
= people who live in poverty

另外主格關係代名詞接be動詞（不限時態）可直接刪除兩者
所以：people who are from Japan
= people from Japan
因此反推：deaths caused by drunk driving
= deaths who are caused by drunk driving
註：deaths指死亡者，是人
