[其他] 不可數名詞當主詞之動詞討論!

請教一下以下的句子

Some pieces of furniture were stolen when we went abroad.

文法書有提到不可數名詞當主詞時,句子的動詞必須是單數,所以

以上的were是不是錯的,要改成was呢,謝謝

推 ihateher    : 主詞是Some piece"s"。
→ ihateher    : Some furniture 就要用單數動詞。
推 akiu072     : 把of之後作為修飾語看待，真正的主詞就顯而易見了
