而且 one after another 有 "一個接一個地" 的意思
例句：
One after another rose to speak and pulled
all his arguments to pieces.
他們紛紛起來發言，把他駁得體無完膚。
I don't like to sit and look at the same stage
scenery one act after another.
我不喜歡—幕接一幕地坐着看這一成不變的布景。
