[解析]：

所謂的定冠詞the，其出現的情況，就是後面一定要有N；

如有不是者，「the + adj」可以有類似中文的「轉品」性質，而轉具有N的功能。

Ex. the living   活人
      the dead   死人
      the beautiful  美(= beauty)

所以形容詞最高級之所以前面會有the，多半都是adj後面有名詞之故：

Ex. She is the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen.

或是依照文意，名詞可以省略，但是the依舊存在：

Ex. Of all the boys I know, Tom is the most generous (boy).

換句話說，如果該形容詞最高級後面「沒有」接名詞修飾，甚至沒有被省略的名詞，
這個就沒有加the的意義跟必要，此情況往往是該形容詞最高級當補語之時。

試比較（這部分例句是我印象中來，應該是旋元佑老師的書本句子）：

Ex. Yangmingshan National Park is the most beautiful (park) in northern Taiwan.

Ex. Yangmingshan National Park is most crowded in spring.

如果大概瞭解，就不難推敲出，adv的最高級，除非後面有修飾「adj + N」，
否則也不該接the：

Ex. Tom runs fastest in our class.

因此：

He looks happiest when he plays baseball with his teammates.

此處的happiest前面不接the，就是因為其後沒有名詞，也沒有被省略的名詞。

至於為何He looks like the happiest man when he plays baseball
with his teammates.是錯，原因如下：

「the + 最高級形容詞 + N」此句構必須要有一個「明確範圍」
才能讓該N跟其餘對象相比較，此時最高級的邏輯才說得通，
所以如果改成以下就可以了：

He looks like the happiest man among the players on court
when he plays baseball with his teammates.
--> among the players on court就是範圍。

或者：

I shall make you the happiest bride in the world.
--> in the world 就是範圍。

: 疑問: 這題看不太懂主詞是誰,誰修飾主詞.  所以不懂怎麼選~
