[題目] 國中的題目:there is/are

   Is thre a student in the classroom? (用有5位詳答)

    a. No, there isn't. There are  five students in the classroom.

    b. Yes, there are. There are five students in the classroom.


    請問各位先進, 這題要選 a 或 b 呢


  PS: 課本的有一題是:

     A: Are there any boys in the pool?

     B: Yes, there is. There is one boy there.

     課本這題是因為答句的 "one" boy 才用 Yes, there "is" 嗎?

     如果是看後面的回答來決定單複數, 那上面那一題"用5位詳答"

     答句也是複數, 是不是應選 b 呢
