我資質比較不好，再加上不夠自制，常常翻開書沒幾分鐘就被旁邊的誘惑吸走，所以自修
對我來說完全不是個選項ㄎㄎ，我是有補習的，經過六個月的努力考到820分，以下分享
一些準備心得，希望可以幫到人。
[PART 1照片描寫]
整體的要點是從選項中找出最符合照片的敘述，多加利用”消去法”，一個一個消去跟照
片不同的、或是在照片裡無法判斷的描述。
˙注意照片中的人數、性別、場所、動作…
˙注意相對位置的描述: next to (在~的旁邊)、parallel to (與~平行)、foreground (
前景)、background (背景)、close to (在~的附近)、in front of (在~的前面)、at
the back of (在~的後面)…主詞部分要聽清楚，有時會有反著講的陷阱。
˙照片如果是人物的特寫，不用考慮無法客觀判斷的事，注意其服裝、手裡拿的東西、行
為舉止。
˙描述人物動作時，會用”現在進行式”: One of the women is touching the horse.
(女子在摸馬)/The man is opening the door. (男子正在開門)/The people are
watching the waterfall. (大家在看瀑布)諸如此類。
˙注意類似的發音: The cake icing is very creamy./The woman is trying to
scream./The shop sells ice cream./The people are part of a team. (creamy、
scream、ice cream就是類似音的字)
[PART 2應答]
完全靠聽，沒有視覺的線索輔助，整體的要點是聽出問句的主旨，問句提供什麼訊息、什
麼要求、拜託、招待…然後選出最恰當的回答。
˙詢問”經驗”Have you…?時，不要太拘泥I have…這種形式的回答，問: Have you
ever been to the headquarters? (你去過總公司嗎)，可以答: Once, for a
week-long conference. (一次，去參加一周會議)
˙以Do/Does…? Are/Is…?開頭的Yes-No Question，回答時不一定要用Yes/No，Yes常用
Sure./Of course.來代替: Does this contract include retirement benefits? (這契
約有含退休津貼嗎) Of course, it’s required by law. (當然，法律有規定)
˙詢問幾點、或需要多少時間時，回答不一定要有數字在裡面: How long do I have to
wait? Just a little while longer. (只要一會兒)/When did you join the gym?
When I realized that I was gaining weight. (當我注意到體重逐漸增加時)
˙”請求”時用Can you…?/Could you…?/Would you mind…?/Do you mind if…?
˙”提議”時用How about…?/Why don’t you…?
˙以What/Which開頭的問句範圍很廣，就看問什麼來選正確回答。
[PART 3會話/PART 4獨白]
我在這兩大題的答題方法是先讀後面的問題，然後再鎖定要聽的重點，因為可以用”關鍵
語”判斷聽力的情況。尤其是在問細節問題時，例如地點、參與者、時間、金額…
A: If a bottle falls off the line, push the emergency “stop” button.
B: How many bottles have to be capped each hour?
A: About two-hundred. Everyone has to move fast at this plant.
˙這題問對話的”地點”，從line(作業線)、plant(工廠)、stop button(緊急停止鈕)幾
個關鍵語可以知道這個對話地點應是factory工廠。
A: Will you make five copies of this document, Ms. Harris? I have to be in
court by noon.
B: Right away, Ms. Daniels. Is there anything else?
A: Please finish the paperwork for the Jones case by five.
˙這題問”人物職業”，關鍵語是court(法庭)、case(訴訟事件)，可以知道人物職業是
lawyer律師。
A: It’s almost six o’clock. When will Dad be home?
B: He’s got a two-hour meeting from five o’clock.
A: Oh, In that case, it will be a while.
˙這題問爸爸”幾點”回家，對聽力裡講到的任何數字都要有敏銳度，開頭講現在六點，
而爸爸在五點要開兩個小時的會，可以判斷開完會已經七點，回家時間一定是七點過後。
A: How much are these Christmas cards?
B: The original price was $5.00 per box of ten. Because it’s after the New
Year holiday, they are “two for one”.
A: Two boxes for the price of one. That’s a deal.
˙這題問”金額”，原本一盒(十張)賣五元，但因為假期快結束所以現在買一送一，等於
買兩盒只要五元。同樣是開頭就要保持敏銳，不能單聽一個數字就選答案，要從內容判斷
。
