[其他] 笛藤600字 例句翻譯

在word families中有幾個例句的翻譯想和各位請教，如下

1. Any association with the former company will put us in a negative light.

問題:in a...light根據Longman線上字典的說明是:

"if someone or something is seen or shown in a particular light, people can

see that particular part of their character"

有點像是指事物的某一面相或角度，也有字典翻作從...的角度/觀點。

不過用在此句感覺很怪，in...a light有其他更適合的翻譯嗎?

2. Do you think customers will associate the failed upstart with ours?

問題:ours翻做我們的(東西)，但從句子中看不出是指什麼東西。翻成

"你認為顧客會把我們的和失敗的自大狂聯想在一起嗎?"適合嗎?

3. The associated costs will put this project out of our reach.

問題:out of one's reach可以翻作"非某人能力所及"，此句翻成

"相關的花費使這個計畫超出我們能力所及。"適合嗎?
