[題目] 這樣造句可以嗎？

雜誌要我用以下兩個詞造句
我試著造句，請教有哪裡需要修改或不通順的地方。
1.house 做動詞
This box houses a gift I will give my gf for a proposal.
2.of the time 造句
我感覺用的時機是在前面有提到過去的事，後面才可以用 of the time?
Although I don't have enough money to buy a fancy gift for my girl, I have the affection to her like the acient romantic poet of the time.
