[題目] 不定代名詞

疑問：
我選A 但是答案是B

知道人數範圍的話可以選the other
因為題目中不知道有多少accociate, 動詞是過去式hurried也無法得知是幾個人
所以我才選other
我翻譯成“其他人”去拿東西
但是答案是翻譯成“另一個人”去拿東西
可是題目中我看不出是兩個人

請問要如何理解這題
