【職務描述】
Our R&D group has an opening for a Product/Process Development Engineer to
join our Advanced Design Team in Asia working in the Iron product category.
This position will be based in Taiwan (Kaohsiung) and report into the region’
s R&D leader based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The position will require travel as
needed to Vietnam and China to support projects and stay connected to the
larger R&D and Engineering team. Use your engineering skills to advance the
development of new golf head design features and platforms, materials, and
processes to help launch our next generation of breakthrough products. This
position will require a proficiency in design studies and evaluation,
materials (incl. metals, polymers, carbon composites), analysis, prototyping,
testing, and manufacturing processes relevant to irons, such as investment
casting, forging, machining, forming, welding, heat treatment,
electro-plating, injection molding, and polishing. Additional aptitude in
project management, critical thinking, problem solving, communication,
documentation, and time management in a fast-paced environment is required.

【工作內容】
· Collaborate with Asia-based TM teams, Suppliers’ technical teams, and
Carlsbad USA-based TM advanced design and product development teams on
projects in support of a 3-year technology plan.
· Support prototyping efforts and process learning at vendors on new
projects with an emphasis on satisfactory on-time delivery, quality, and
process definition.
· Effectively communicate project requirements and details with Asia-based
vendors, and work closely with their teams to ensure all goals are met.
· Engage in product testing in laboratory and factory environments. Includes
conducting independent lab testing and reporting results.
· Conduct research-oriented studies to further knowledge and understanding
of product performance, durability, usage, and the processes used to make
them.
· Participate in component measurement and product evaluation to ensure
design features, part assembly, or manufacture of components is within
desired specifications.
· Support activity related to patent filing, clearance, or research.
· Participate regularly in process improvement within areas of
responsibility. Continually develop better and faster ways of working.

【徵求條件】

· Strong knowledge of materials (carbon & stainless steels, titanium &
aluminum alloys, tungsten alloys, polymers, and composites)
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods (Investment casting, Forging,
Machining, Etching, Welding, Coating, Injection molding, MIM, Powder
metallurgy, Polishing and finishing, etc.)
· Strong communication and collaboration: Must be fluent in English (written
and oral), have excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate
effectively with all levels of the organization globally (R&D, engineering,
production, legal, product marketing, suppliers, technicians, etc.); and be
able to collaborate and communicate across countries and time zones
effectively.
· Knowledge of golf principles and associated terminology is preferred.

【其他】
· International travel required, up to 2 times per month.
· MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related Engineering
discipline.
· 2-5 years work experience directly related to the essential duties and
responsibilities described above; golf industry related experience a plus,
but not required.
· Experience in testing, data analysis and statistics (hypothesis testing;
design of experiments approaches (DOE); reliability, endurance and
environmental testing).
· Experience in planning and executing test protocols, and designing testing
equipment and fixtures with a “hands-on” mentality. Data collection,
reduction, and reporting to team is required.
· Various analytical skills and software experience preferred (e.g. Matlab,
Minitab).

【薪資範圍】90K/month and up, negotiable
