MELBOURNE -- Danielle Collins left it all on the court in her three-set loss
to World No.1 Iga Swiatek at the Australian Open. After the match, the
30-year-old American announced the 2024 Hologic WTA Tour season would be her
final year on tour.

"Yeah, this is going to be my last season, actually, competing," Collins told
reporters. "I don't really know exactly when, but this will be my last season
and I'm really looking forward to that.

"是的 這是我的最後一個賽季 我不太確定具體時間 但確實是我最後一年征戰了"

Collins這麼告訴記者


"I feel like I've had a pretty good career. There has certainly been ups and
downs to it, and I think the travel and some of the things away from the
court with scheduling and all of that, this is a really tough sport.

我認為我擁有一個非常不錯的職業生涯 但這其中肯定有起起伏伏 比如到處飛還有一些場

外的事 或者處理賽程安排等 這是一項非常艱難的運動

"I have other things that I'd kind of like to accomplish in my life outside
of tennis, and would like to be able to have the time to be able to do that.
Obviously having kids is a big priority for me."

除了網球之外我的生活中還有其他想完成的事 而我也想要有時間去做到那些 顯然 生孩

子對我來說是一個優先選項
