標題[情報] 新賽季開始啦(媒體日＋訓練營開始)

新賽季開打進入倒數時刻，球隊也在9/30舉行了媒體日(拍些官方照片、記者會等)、10/01也進行了第一天的訓練營。

Today the Wolves returned to Mankato for the first time in five years. Great tribute to Flip Saunders from Towns, Wiggins and Convington to wear jerseys with his college number on them. Flip loved bringing the team down to Mankato for training camp.
老桑過世後球隊就不到Mankato舉辦訓練營了，這是老桑過世後第一次回Mankato。

Gersson Rosas said he's approaching Andrew Wiggins' evaluation with the Wolves with a "clean slate," but mentioned there have been some "heart to heart" conversations over the summer.

Jeff Teague on what he expects from the offense this season: "I expect a big year from (Wiggins) because of the space and the opportunity to crack people off the dribble with the spacing we have. It should be easier, but I guess we got to see."

Andrew Wiggins is known to not pay attention to outside noise. But he did indicate today that he heard more if it than before.

Ryan said a big defensive goal for the team this year is running guys off the 3pt line to force them into long 2s.
I have been waiting for a Wolves coach to say this since 2007.

Towns on being more of a facilitator this season:
"Especially in high school, that’s what I was known for, passing. It’s really fun to have the ball in my hands where I am able to do things I’ve been doing since high school, which is be an elite passer."

The spots in the Timberwolves rotation are “open,” according to Ryan Saunders. Sounds like training camp will be a competition of sorts for those spots.
Saunders said there are more players on the roster than he will likely be able to play.

Jordan Bell said in conversations with his agent over the summer that he was told this "wasn't the Timberwolves you knew the last two years." That everything was changing.

He's healthy, just needs to get in playing shape, he says.

Robert Covington said there will be some easing into a full workload for him coming off the knee injury. Mentioned he just got back to competitive playing recently.

Robert Covington says “we’re definitely going to ease into things” in training camp. He hasn’t had any setbacks yet and they want to do things the right way to make sure that stays that way.

Robert Covington was open and honest about his mental health struggles during his injury last year. Said he had to send his family away at one point so they weren't brought down as well. Saunders, Layden and Gregg Farnam helped him find a therapist.
