Here's the Wolves' cap sheet after trading Josh Green (1 year,
$14.7M) for Cody Williams (2 years, $13.7M -- team option Year 2)
and John Konchar (1 year, $6.2M)...
- The Wolves now have
$4.5M in space beneath the 2nd apron ($6.3M
- $1.75M in unlikely incentives for DiVincenzo and McDaniels).
- The Wolves have
14 players under contract, which means they have
1 open roster spot. They could sign a free agent or leave that
final spot open for flexibility and tax savings, as they did last
season.
- The 1 year and $6.165M of Konchar's contract was waived-and-stretched,
which means it will carry
a dead $2.1M cap hit for the next three
seasons.
- The Wolves have a $7.7M team option on the 4th season of Williams'
rookie contract. The deadline to opt in or out of that option is
10/31/2026.

內文沒提到stretched，不過趕在期限前宣布，這操作應該有同時進行，
即便沒攤也能在不超過二層情形下和苦命完成簽約。
待苦命正式簽約，球員名單還保留一個空缺，團隊薪資在二層下約4.5M。

I suspect the Wolves will look to add another veteran who, at
minimum, can be a real locker room presence while helping on the
floor in spot duty if needed.
