[英中] 請問through的翻譯

最近在幫老闆翻英文文件，其中ii段出現"through"，我譯成"通過"，

但與上下文意不符合，不曉得該如何翻譯才好，原文及試譯如下：

B. Carbon Sequestration and Storage

   1) In addition to requirements to maintain environmental values in
      Principle 6, and Principle 9 when promotional claims are made
      regarding carbon sequestration and storage, the following are
      demonstrated:

      ii. Management activities maintain, enhance or restore carbon storage
          in the forest; including "through" forest protection and reduced
          impact logging practices for carbon, as described in the FSC
          Guidance for Maintaining and Enhancing Ecosystem Services.

   1) 除原則6中關於維持環境價值的要求外，及原則9中有關碳吸存及碳儲存所發出
      推廣聲明時，應提供下列證明：
