這句話的翻譯在何毓文中譯的版本裡為：

「我不求你饒恕我，只求你聽我說；聽了之後，如果你還想毀掉我，如果你能毀掉我，
再毀掉你親手造出來的作品吧！」


這句話的翻譯我一直覺得怪怪的。
第一，Yet的語氣沒有翻出來。
Agreed; but the transition from the previous sentence, which is sarcastic,
is more complex than can be expressed in one phrase.
第二，I ask you not to spare me，not的否定應該是落在spare me上面。
Actually, this in more contemporary English would be "I don't ask you to spare
me." SVO not = S not VO; it's an older sentence structure.
Even if this were not the case, I would still disagree: In English, we often
see things like: not to = to not, try and = try to
第三，總覺得「我不求你...只求你...」的語氣跟整個語境不太搭。
Someone with life and sentience asking for his own demise seems stranger.

我的試譯為：

「不過我要你別饒過我，聽我說！然後，如果你有辦法毀掉我，如果你要這麼做的話，
再毀掉你親手的造物吧！」
My turn: 但我也不堅持要你放過我；你先聽我說；之後，如果你還能夠，如果你還願
意，你再把你這親手之作給毀了吧！


我不太確定自己的理解是否貼切，請給我一些建議！

→ EVASUKA: 」聽起來不是很口語，怪人的語彙層次應該不會說這種有點
→ EVASUKA: 拗口的話。原英文「the work of ...」 就是很簡單口語
