[雜問] 請問計價方式中的sliding scale指的是？

最近考慮幫朋友（國外網頁）接一份網頁長期翻譯案。
（沒有使用過CAT，打算直接逐字翻譯，當練習）

不過，對於合約裡payment的說明看不太懂（如下）
不確定這六種狀況分別指的是什麼？為何六種情況會有不同價碼？
會影響我該不該使用CAT的決定嗎？

For the payment of the translations, xxxxxx.com employs a sliding scale based
on translation matches in the xxxxxx.com Translation Memory (“TM”).

Consequently, the compensation to the Freelancer for his/her Assignment
rendered under this Agreement shall be the following, exclusive of VAT:

a) ‘Machine translation’ is paid at EUR 0.02 (100% of base rate) per word
in the source text. Machine translations are automatic translations generated
by a machine;

b)‘Untranslated’ is paid at 100% of base rate per word in the source text.
Untranslated are words that could not be translated from either the
xxxxxx.com translation memory or from machine translation;

c) ‘High fuzzy TM match’ is paid at 60% of base rate per word in the source
text. High fuzzy matches occur when part of a segment has already been
translated from a near perfect match from the xxxxxxxx.com translation memory;

d) ‘Repeated text’ are segments that are repeated more than once throughout
the same project. Repeat matches are listed in the project statistics as a
separate category, they are invoiced as either Machine translation or ‘High
fuzzy’ TM matches and are paid accordingly;

e) ‘100% TM match’ is paid at 30% of base rate per word in the source text;
100% TM matches are fully translated segments;

f) ‘In-context translation’ is paid at 30% of base rate per word in the
source text. An in-context match is a 100% translation match sandwiched
between other 100% TM matches.

→ wanway: 如果客戶要求用CAT，強烈建議你也必須使用。這樣才可以保
→ wanway: 持翻譯的一致性。在有CAT輔助的情況下，不同的match有不同
→ wanway: 價格是正常的。這邊看起來也是一般挺常規的CAT計價方式。
