[英中] would be and could be

 之前見到對於 would be 和 could be 的中譯都同樣譯作「可能是」，

 但是下面這句的狀況顯然必須對它們更細分︰

 errors that would or could result in harm to the patient or user
             ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
 請問翻譯這兩者時有何中文辭彙去區分它們?
