我遇到一樣的問題
因為我還有註記英文別名
就要求使用英文別名方式或是更正加入破折號

寫信到[e-mail]去確認
回覆是Non Immigrant Visa Application Procedure
Please be informed that we have already received both passport the Visa;
however, please note that the name appears on the Visa
will be based on the name indicated on your passport.

所以就是這樣  是正常的
或許無法只因為台灣人的名字格式來更動
全世界似乎沒有其他國家的名字中間有用到破折號的吧

→ cchris: 有些歐洲/拉丁美洲國家有雙姓制,就有使用連字號,相同問題

推 dallasman: 有的老美也有連字號複姓..不過不知道他們的ID上怎麼寫

→ cchris: 我的加州駕照的first name就有hyphen,我太太的也有,很平常
→ cchris: 週遭多數台灣朋友的也都有,當初也沒有特殊要求就這樣了
→ cchris: 我的美國護照上first name也有hyphen,這也並不罕見
