最近收到一家公司錄取 7月準備開始用OPT上班
我的科系是屬於STEM項目 所以現在想知道公司是不是有加入e-verify
根據政府的官方網站
(https://www.e-verify.gov/about-e-verify/e-verify-data/participating-employers)
The search tool covers currently enrolled employers, federal contractors, and
E-Verify Employer Agent (EEAs) in E-Verify through April 1, 2018. Federal
contractors self report whether their contract has the E-Verify FAR clause.
The search tool contains the following:
‧Business name (the name used during registration with E-Verify, it can be
the legal name of the business or individual, a trade name or abbreviation)
‧Federal Contractor Identifier (yes/no)
‧E-Verify Employer Agent (EEA) (yes/no)
‧Employer city, state and ZIP code used at registration
‧Workforce size (five or more)
"The search tool covers currently enrolled employers, federal contractors,
and E-Verify Employer Agent (EEAs) in E-Verify through April 1, 2018."
"covers currently enrolled employers"
是不是指只要公司能在系統中被查詢到就是屬於有註冊e-verify的公司?
就算後面的Federal Contractor 和E-Verify Employer Agent是"no"
也只是說明這家公司不是E-verify中的"E-Verify Employer Agent"或"Federal
Contractor"
換言之，只要在系統裡查的到就一定是e-verify的公司
請問我的理解是否正確呢?
我知道問HR最準 但因為7月上班才有機會問到HR
如果是像我理解的這樣 現在多少可以安心一些
