Following the tests carried out, it has been determined that the player
Jose Copete is suffering from a meniscal injury in his left knee,
sustained during the match against the Villarreal CF last Sunday.
The Valencia CF centre-back will require surgery in the coming days.

Jose Copete successfully underwent surgery on his left knee this Monday,
March 2, in Valencia. The procedure was performed by orthopedic surgeon
Ignacio Munoz Criado under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Lopez, head of
Valencia CF's medical services.
The Valencia centre-back will remain hospitalized over the coming hours
for clinical monitoring and post-operative observation.
