1.基本上哲學還是以西方文化的思維方式為主
這也不是說不是西方的思想就不是哲學，但還是以西方哲學發展為主體
2.哲學史還是以西方歷史的斷代，西方國家中的較為強勢的知識體系的發展來看，

(我是認為這篇十九世紀後寫的不好，不過沒差，這部分先不管)
像是這篇提到的德國觀念論
十九世紀時候跟德國觀念論同期出現的蘇格蘭學派就不被列入主流的哲學史底下
(蘇格蘭學派打輸德國觀念論，後來消失了，
但更之後的二十世紀英國哲學或多或少都受其影響)
以及這篇提到的文藝復興(14th~17th)時代義大利自然哲學強勢
但當時最強的國家是西班牙葡萄牙，
可是西葡兩國的哲學體系沒有義大利自然哲學強勢阿
因此在主流的哲學史西葡兩國的那些都不會記錄
3.科學哲學是十九世紀實證主義興起後才發展出來的哲學子領域
並不是每個研究哲學的都會碰到科學哲學底下的次領域那些東西
