[閒聊] 阿金谷獎學金

為紀念阿金谷戰役六百周年，英國南安普敦大學推出「阿金谷獎學金」。

此獎學金資助三年的博士班學費及相關支出，每年金額是兩萬英鎊。

申請者國籍不限 (所以有志跳PhD火坑的台灣青年男女也能申請)

申請者需提出一件歷史或跨領域論文研究計畫，題目需與阿金谷戰役相關。

申請截止期限是2015年2月13日。

The Agincourt Scholarship

University of Southampton - Faculty of Humanities

Applications are invited for a three-year PhD studentship in the
Faculty of Humanities at the University of Southampton, funded by
The Gosling Foundation in commemoration of the 600th anniversary of
the battle of Agincourt (25 October 1415).

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Professor
Anne Curry, Professor of Medieval History, well known for her work on
the battle and on late medieval English armies. There will also be
opportunities for links with, and professional development through,
the Royal Armouries.

Applicants should submit a proposal for historical or interdisciplinary
research linked to the battle and its context. They should demonstrate
that they have the skills (e.g. in languages, palaeography etc.) necessary
to carry out the research they are proposing. The Faculty will provide
additional training as required.

The value of the scholarship is a total of ￡20,000 per annum to cover
fees and stipend. Home/EU and international applicants are welcome and
would be subject to the relevant annual PhD fee level based on their
status.
