花蝴蝶 Mariah Carey (瑪莉亞凱莉) 的經典神曲〈All I Want For Christmas Is You〉
。很難想像有一首歌能夠歌歷經 26 年的洗鍊依然屹立不搖，一開始收錄在 1994 年發行

〈All I Want For Christmas Is You〉歌詞內容很簡單，描述的是主人翁不在乎物質禮
物，只在乎能與愛人共度佳節的心情。
許多人認為「鼓勵消費」摧毀了聖誕節的實質意義，人們變得越來越專注購買和接受物質
的禮物，而忘了這個節日意味的是「家庭」與「團聚」(就像東方人的過年一樣) 。對於

聖誕節歌曲。這首歌可以有這般影響力，每年為歌迷持續創造回憶，讓我感到相當榮幸，
我也很高興能夠透過圖書向新世代以及他們的家庭帶來故事。」Mariah Carey 說。她在
2015 年發行了同名動畫書籍，2017 年推出電影《 Mariah Carey’s All I Want For
Christmas Is You》，可見這首神曲的影響力遠不止於音樂領域。
自原版發布以來，〈All I Want For Christmas Is You〉攻佔了每一個節慶榜單，並估
計至今已為 Mariah Carey 賺得 6000 萬美元的版稅，成為「有史以來最偉大的聖誕歌曲
」，也因此讓 Mariah Carey 獲得「聖誕節女王」的稱號，但她謙虛的說到：
「我承受不起這個頭銜，因為真的太超過了！非常感謝給我讚美的人們，我對假期非常熱
愛，這是一年中最美好的時光！」
歷經了 26 年，〈All I Want For Christmas Is You〉曾達到 Billboard Hot 100 第一
名，成為 Mariah 第 19 首冠軍單曲，並且使她成為 Billboard Hot 100 得過最多冠軍
曲的獨唱歌手。除此之外，這首歌還創下最久的霸榜 No.1 新紀錄，超過艾爾頓強
Elton John 重新錄製的〈Candle in the Wind〉。
〈All I Want For Christmas Is You〉發行以來，經歷了無數歌手的翻唱，包括 Miley
Cyrus、John Mayer、Shania Twain、 Ariana Grande、Fifth Harmony、Demi Lovato、
