Coldplay’s Chris Martin has curated a line-up that includes Justin Bieber, Shak
ira, BTS, Madonna, Burna Boy, Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel and PS22 Chor
us. Characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets will also be part of the show.

FIFA has previously said the performance will be 11 minutes long and described i
t as a “landmark celebration at the intersection of sport, music and global imp
act.”

FIFA先前表示，這場表演將長達11分鐘，並形容它是一場「體育、音樂與全球影響力交會的

World football’s governing body, however, is yet to reveal the total length of
half-time during the final, although multiple sources have told The Athletic the
y are targeting it to last around 20 minutes.

不過這個世界足球最高管理機構尚未公布決賽中場休息的總時長，但多位消息人士向《The 
Athletic》透露，FIFA的目標是將整個中場休息控制在約20分鐘。


FIFA has been approached for comment.

《The Athletic》已向FIFA詢問此事並請求回應。


The International Football Association Board (IFAB), the game’s lawmakers, stat
es, per its rulebook, that half-time should not exceed 15 minutes and that the i
nterval “may be altered only with the referee’s permission.”

足球規則制定機構國際足球協會理事會（IFAB）在規則中明定，中場休息時間不得超過15分
鐘，且「只有經裁判同意才能調整中場休息時間」。


It is highly unusual for the 15-minute break to be extended, so it will create a
 unique challenge for the players and coaches who are not accustomed to a longer
 interval.

將15分鐘的中場休息延長是極為罕見的情況，因此這將為不習慣較長休息時間的球員與教練
帶來特殊挑戰。


Even though this will be the first time FIFA has held a half-time show at the Wo
rld Cup, it did have one during last summer’s Club World Cup final between Chel
sea and Paris Saint-Germain, which was also staged at MetLife Stadium in New Jer
sey.

雖然這將是FIFA首次在世界盃舉辦中場秀，但去年夏天世俱盃決賽（切爾西對巴黎聖日耳曼

That performance included Tems, J Balvin and Doja Cat, and took place on a stage
 high up in the stands, lasting just over 24 minutes.

A key difference for the World Cup final, however, is that the show will take pl
ace on the pitch, meaning a stage will need to be erected and collapsed before a
nd after the performance.

搭建、演出後迅速拆除。


In the Copa America final two years ago, a tournament organised by the South Ame
rican body Conmebol, Shakira performed during half-time at Hard Rock Stadium, wi
th Argentina and Colombia waiting around 26 minutes before the second half got u
nderway.

兩年前由南美足聯（CONMEBOL）主辦的美洲盃決賽中，夏奇拉曾在邁阿密硬石體育場（Hard
 Rock Stadium）的中場休息演出，阿根廷與哥倫比亞兩隊因此等待了約26分鐘，下半場才
重新開始。


The Super Bowl, which is synonymous with a half-time show, regularly sees the NF
L players spending between 20 to 30 minutes off the field. During the regular se
ason, an NFL game interval lasts a strict 13 minutes.

以中場秀聞名的超級盃，NFL球員通常會有20至30分鐘不在場上；相比之下，NFL例行賽的中
場休息則嚴格限制為13分鐘。


Sunday’s World Cup final half-time show is being produced by Global Citizen and
 sources from the organisation, speaking anonymously to protect relationships, p
reviously told The Athletic that the artists are not receiving a fee for perform
ing.

本週日世界盃決賽的中場秀由Global Citizen製作，該組織消息人士先前在匿名接受《The 
Athletic》訪問時表示，為了維護合作關係而不具名，並透露所有演出藝人都不會收取演出
費。


FIFA has said its Global Citizen Education Fund is seeking to raise $100 million
 to “expand access to quality education and football opportunities for children
 worldwide.”

FIFA表示，Global Citizen教育基金的目標是募得1億美元，以「擴大全球兒童獲得優質教
育及足球發展機會的管道」。
