WHO has also carefully investigated the risks of women transmitting COVID-19
to their babies during breastfeeding.

▓WHO已仔細調查哺乳女性傳染新冠(武漢)肺炎病毒給新生兒的風險。


We know that children are at relatively low-risk of COVID-19, but are at high
risk of numerous other diseases and conditions that breastfeeding prevents.

▓兒童感染新冠(武漢)肺炎風險相對低，但仍可能罹患許多其他母乳能有助預防的
疾病和症狀。


Based on the available evidence, WHO’s advice is that the benefits of
breastfeeding outweigh any potential risks of transmission of COVID-19.

▓根據現有證據，就傳染新冠(武漢)肺炎病毒而言，WHO認為母乳哺育利大於弊。

Mothers with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 should be encouraged to initiate
and continue breastfeeding and not be separated from their infants, unless
the mother is too unwell.

▓疑似或確診個案宜開始或繼續母乳哺育，且除非母體過於耗弱，母親不應離開新生兒。


WHO has detailed information in our clinical guidance about how to breastfeed
safely.

▓WHO已針對安全哺乳提供臨床指引。
