my braces are stopping me
from kissing
people, you see how
magnetic love
can be
the metal wires, however
have attracted too much attention
my braces are stopping me
from loving
you, it's like a
mini cage and my voice
is trapped with my tongue
dark and moist and
usually drunk
my braces are my
overprotective guard
they've seen the heart in pieces
they've seen it scarred
the pain is beautiful
though
it's hidden behind the smile
