已經寫信去給達美兩次，兩次都得到相當官樣的回答。
附上達美的回信說明解決辦法：
-Provide your account number to a Delta agent when making your
reservation or after you have purchased your ticket on delta.com. The
representative will add the partner frequent flyer number to your
reservation.
- If you check-in online, you will have the opportunity to add your
frequent flyer number on Step 2 of the Online Check-In process. As you
are checking-in, you will see a link that says ‘Add’. Simply pick the
SkyMiles partner you want and enter your number.
- As a final option, you can give your frequent flyer number to the
ticket or gate agent before boarding your departing flight.
是說的確也不需要趕著在訂位的時候給會員卡號啦，
達美改艙之後原本ST菁英和超級菁英會員可以免費升等豪華經濟艙的優勢已經沒了，
現在只剩下免費的Preferred Seats (前排座位、大多數走道位和緊急出口）可以選，
那個等訂位手續全部完成之後補會員卡號再選位也無所謂。
要不然如果base在美國的話，避開達美官網，
用購票網站買票就可以在訂位的時候登錄CI會員卡號，
之後到達美官網查行程就會有已經登錄好的CI卡號跟（如果適用的話）ST的服務了。
