[問題] 如果想連絡的教授網頁上寫不要寄...

如標題
小弟想申請國外 PhD program
但思想一直停留在中式的申請方式(成績->志願->照順序錄取)
看了版上很多人建議在申請前要與想跟的教授做聯繫
但如果想聯絡的教授網頁上寫了如下的資訊:

regretfully, I am unable to respond to most inquiries regarding
openings for graduate and postdoctoral positions in my group. Admissions to
Stanford are handled at a department-wide level, not by me individually, so I
am unable to comment on your suitability for graduate school or work with me.
If you are already a Stanford student or have been admitted to Stanford, feel
free to contact me about interests we may share.

請問還該與這教授聯絡加深他印象嗎? SOP 還要指名跟他嗎?




另外有位教授已回信:

You will have to apply through the normal channels.  Applications are
reviewed by committee starting in January.  If you are accepted then we can
discuss the possibility of you joining the group.  Best of luck.

那該怎麼禮貌地回覆這封信呢?
