[問題] 台大老校友申請時的GPA計算法?

大家好,
由於我是93年入學的老校友 (B93, R97)
我當初印的畢業成績單, 是傳統的100分分數系統.

不過在我的英文版成績單右上方, 有寫下面這串字:

National Taiwan University uses a numerical
grading system on a scale of 0 to 100.

Grading system at the undergraduate level
(for reference purposes only):
80 or higher = A        60 = Lowest passing grade
70 - 79      = B        50 - 59      = D
60 - 69      = C        49 and below = E



而後來有聽說學弟妹們被改成4.3等第制?

請問, 這樣我在申請學校時, 該用:
1. 百分制?
2. 自己根據成績單換4.0 GPA制?
3. 也自己換成4.3的制度? 或...其他?

另外我也好奇, 我的成績和後來也是台大畢業學弟妹的拿去比較, 這樣在美國那邊的
校方眼裡會是= =?   (阿就整個系統標準都不同啊...)

根據樓上們的回覆似乎建議用4.0去填@@?

不過舉個stanford的系統說明為例:
 If your school uses a 4.0 grading scale and
    has reported your grade point average (GPA) to you, please enter that
  value as the GPA, using two decimal points (e.g. a 4.0 should be entered as
  4.00);
    or
    has not reported your GPA to you, enter a 0.00 for the GPA and please
  explain why the GPA cannot be reported. This information should be included
  in the Additional Information section within Document Uploads on page 15 of
  the application.

 or

 If your school does not use a 4.0 grading scale, enter a 0.00 for the GPA and
 please enter your average grade score on the school's scale as the
 Unconverted GPA "value" and enter the actual grading scale as the unconverted
 GPA "scale".
感覺我的情形(根據英文成績單那行字), 比較像最下面4行描述的這種...吧?


再舉個UIUC的系統說明為例:
Overall GPA (example: 3.50, 84%, etc). Use GPA scale from your institution.
所以是不是就填100%的那種方式啊QQ?


我的英文成績單那句 "(for reference purposes only)" 究竟涵義是什麼呢? Orz...

→ Linethan: 因為這有憑有據 不是我自己亂算的也不用去外面找人算

我目前又再申請了一次成績單(等他寄), 想看看和當初畢業時後印的有沒有長不一樣...

因為以我前面舉的那兩所學校為例, 我總覺得應該是要填NTU原始的100%分制的樣子啊!
(可是看推文大部分都說自己轉成4.0?)

推 YuYi58: AIT的留學諮詢建議自己換算成4.0制，80以上=4，70~79=3，
→ YuYi58: 60~69=2，自己去計算就可以了
