[問題] 請教這封信的意思和後續一些問題

剛回研究室就收到這很溫和的拒絕信QAQ

Thank you for your application to the PhD degree program in Biostatistics
at the University of Michigan. Our general policy is to admit students in
the PhD program only if they have a Masters degree in Biostatistics or a
related field comparable to our own. Therefore, we are pleased to recommend
admission to the Master of Science program for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Formal admission is required by our Rackham Graduate School. This requires
documentation of your ability to support yourself during graduate study,
and may also require that you take courses on English as a second language
after you enroll.

想請問大家，這是只給 Master admission 的意思吧?

但因為拒絕的理由是 只收生統或相關領域的碩士，讓我覺得不能接受阿 QAQ

我是應數所統計組，但是需要的統計必修應該都沒少，

而且我有修過公衛所生統組的存活分析~~

所以想請問版上前輩們，還有寫信去argue或是提醒的可能嗎??

如果可以寫的話，要寫給誰，或怎麼寫，會比較好??
